A first for Willie’s Remedy, the partnership that went into making Wildflowers Tea celebrates two iconic musicians who are not only legacies within the music world, but also within the cannabis space. Wildflowers Tea was intentionally based with chamomile daisies and is named “Wildflowers” in tribute to Tom Petty’s masterpiece.
Willie Nelson and Tom Petty have had such a lasting impact on American music and American life. Their names are synonymous with authenticity, character and pure songcraft. During Tom’s life, they shared a strong admiration for each other with Tom participating in Farm Aid and often crossing paths with Willie while on the road during his career. The two families share a deep friendship, that is being carried through to the next generation.
When Lukas, Micah and Willie performed one of Tom’s unreleased songs “For Real” in 2019, Tom Petty’s daughter, Adria, had the privilege of meeting Annie Nelson. Annie explained the loving nature and careful development of Willie’s Remedy coffees and teas and the health benefits and merits of full-spectrum hemp extract products. It was there the idea for the partnership was born.
Wildflowers Tea is a soothing and beneficial use of the hemp flower. To create the tea, we looked at the botanicals that pair well with our favorite flower-the hemp flower-in terms of flavor and benefit. This botanical blend combines whole chamomile flowers for relaxation, mood-lifting lemon myrtle flowers and cooling peppermint leaves that also aid in digestion. With strong notes of refreshing mint and a deep honey-sweet chamomile base, it is something of a tonic. Ritualistic and calming, it soothes the body and mind to help you power down and reset-pure comfort in a cup.
