Our coffee is a blend of Colombian and Nicaraguan coffee. The Colombia Risaralda Co-Op, an early leader in coffee co-ops, has been advancing the idea that their farmers own their own coffee and independently support their own communities for more than 60 years. SOPPEXCCA, comprised of 650 producers from the province of Jinotega in northern Nicaragua, is an emerging, mission-based co-op, and one of the highest quality coffee co-ops in the world. It is Fair-Trade certified and has extremely high female membership with the goal to further create more opportunities for women. Our coffee partnerships allow us to further the Nelson family’s commitment to supporting farmers by working with coffee cooperatives who are doing great things for their families and communities.
